Anthony TorresTRAINING: Monday is 30-45 minutes of running and cardio – in the evening I work Muay Thai for an hour and a half and then hard jiu-jitsu for about an hour. Tuesday is boxing training and circuit lifting in the morning and wrestling and takedowns in the evening. Wednesday is a hard sparring day. Thursday is a full body rest day, and Friday is an MMA day. Saturday afternoon is MMA again, but with sparring. When and why did you start training for fighting? I did a little bit of Judo in my senior year of high school. It wasn't until a year after high school that I decided to seriously train in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. I first started training under Relson Gracie. After successfully competing in several tournaments, I wanted to take my training to the next level and I wanted to test myself in all areas, so I started training under Egan Inoue of Grappling Unlimited in Honolulu along with Coach Rick, Hesia, and Nyza of MMA Development. Since then I have been working to sharpen my blade in all areas of mixed martial arts.
