When and why did you start training for fighting? I wanted to prove that I am strong, so during my college years, I went around various MMA clubs and circles.

What ranks and titles have you held? DEEP lightweight title. All Japan Brazilian Jiu-jitsu Champion (blue belt)

Do you have any heroes? Ichiro Suzuki from Seattle Mariners

What is your favorite technique? Ryote Gari (judo takedown)

What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? This is a very important fight for me.

Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? Yes, I studied Economics and Information.

What was your job before you started fighting? I was a pipe / duct worker.
