When and why did you start training for fighting? As a kid I had been made fun of at school. I grew up with a chip on my shoulder and had an aggressive personality. During football I had to do cross training at a local kickboxing gym, there, I had the opportunity to get involved with the sport of MMA. I looked up to MMA athletes like Tito Ortiz, and had found a sport I enjoyed that let me take out my emotions.

What ranks and titles have you held? WCMHB fighting lightweight tournament champ

Do you have any heroes? I would have to say my hero is my higher power, which is god.

What does it mean for you to fight in the WEC? It’s the best show out there, but for me It doesn’t matter where I fight, I just like to fight.

Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? I attended junior college at a local college near my hometown, called Oranges Coast College. Which was rated the number one college by playboy magazine for the hottest girls. So, as you can imagine I didn’t get too far in academics

What was your job before you started fighting? I was a personal trainer
