Biografía

TRAINING: Train, eat, nap, train, train, eat, sleep

When and why did you start training for fighting? I was 15, I needed the something to keep me on the right path and feed my need to feel that rush. Martial arts saved my life and has given me the opportunity to find myself.

What ranks and titles have you held? NABF boxing title

Do you have any heroes? My Parents, all first responders and armed servicemen and women

What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? It means hard work pays off

Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? BS in Emergency Medicine

What was your job before you started fighting? I was a Firefighter for seven years. I also became a paramedic in that time. Now I am a team leader that provides medic coverage for our state police SWAT team. This is when I am not in camp and an on-call schedule allows me to still train unless there is a call out. I own a yoga studio and when not in camp I teach yoga classes as well.

  • Lone pre-UFC losses are to UFC vets Alexa Grasso and Alex Chambers
  • Has 4-2 Invicta FC record with wins over DeAnna Bennett and Jinh Yu Frey

  • Was pro boxer from 2005-2015, compiling a 7-7-1, 2 KOs record
