Gordon-Quinones rescheduled for OKC card

A bout of food poisoning kept Jared Gordon from his first UFC bout against fellow debutant Michel Quinones earlier this month, but the featherweight up and comers are slated to finally meet in the Octagon on June 25 at Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City.

Also added to the card is a light heavyweight matchup between unbeaten newcomer Azamat Murzakanov and Joachim Christensen.

In the UFC Fight Night main event, which airs live on FS1, lightweight contenders collide as Michael Chiesa faces Kevin Lee.

A pro since 2011, Gordon has finished seven of 12 bouts, and has won three in a row leading into the biggest fight of his career. Fresh off a decision win over Bill Algeo that garnered the attention of UFC President Dana White on his "Lookin' for a Fight" series, the 28-year-old will square off with Florida's Quinones, a hard-hitting prospect who has won five straight, three by knockout.

Eager to jump right back into the Octagon after a tough loss to Gadzhimurad Antigulov at UFC 211 earlier this month, Christensen will attempt to spoil the UFC debut of Murzakanov, who has finished six of his seven wins, with each of those finishes coming in less than two minutes.
