The final bout for Saturday's UFC Fight Night card in Hollywood, Florida set, as veteran Danny Martinez will square off with Octagon newcomer Sirwan Kakai in a bantamweight bout at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.
Stepping up to 135 pounds for the short notice contest, San Diego's Martinez is coming off a Fight of the Night war with Scott Jorgensen last June, and he's been eagerly awaiting the opportunity to get back into the Octagon as he pursues his first UFC win. A native of Sweden, Kakai has won 11 of his last 12 bouts, and while this is his UFC debut, work with the respected American Top Team in Florida has him ready for battle.
