Fight Night Sydney Post-Fight Bonus Report

Read on to find out who took home bonuses from Fight Night Sydney.

Six fighters joined UFC Managing Director Tom Wright, after a record-breaking night at Fight Night Sydney: Australian lightweight Jake Matthews, Soa Palelei, co-main event winner Al Iaquinta, middleweight Robert Whittaker, and headliners Luke Rockhold and Michael Bisping.

Fight Night Sydney, the last UFC FIGHT PASS event of the 2014, will go down in the record books as the event with the most ever finishes in the modern era. It also marks the third time every fight on the card ended in a finish. The previous events were UFC 40 (8), and the Ultimate Fighter 5 Finale (9).

Performance of the Night was awarded to No. 5 middleweight Luke Rockhold and flyweight Louis Smolka. Rockhold became the first person finish Michael Bisping via submission and posted the record-setting stoppage in his bout. Smolka, who took his fight in 14 days notice, got his second win in the Octagon after a third-round knockout of Richie Vaculik.

Robert Whittaker had his coming out party at middleweight in his Fight of the Night brawl with Clint Hester. Whittaker secured the finish in the second round, but Hester was game throughout, partaking in numerous heavy-handed exchanges before subcumbing to Whittaker's impressive mix of speed and power.

Each bonus winner was awarded $50,000.
