Brocktober has Arrived on Spike

New Three-Part Series Premieres On Spike TV on Wednesday, October 6 At 11:00 PM ET. Network Also To Telecast Special Episodes of “UFC Unleashed” And Archived Brock Lesnar Fights Prior To Highly Anticipated Heavyweight Title Bout With Cain Velasquez

 

New York, NY, September 21, 2010 – In anticipation of their UFC heavyweight championship title clash at “UFC 121: Lesnar vs. Velasquez,” UFC champion Brock Lesnar and challenger Cain Velasquez will be featured on “UFC Primetime®,” a weekly, three part series premiering Wednesday, October 6 at 11:00 PM ET/PT on Spike TV.  

Throughout the month of October or “Brocktober,” Spike TV will be airing a slew of special Lesnar-related features and encore presentations of his past fights leading up to the live pay-per-view bout on Saturday, October 23.  The special “Brocktober” programming includes the following:

“UFC Primetime,” produced by the Ultimate Fighting Championship® (UFC®), is a look into the lives of heavyweight king Lesnar, and the challenger, Velasquez.   As the two prepare for their meeting in October, Spike TV will present three special weekly installments that will take viewers from rural Minnesota as Lesnar trains with the DeathClutch/Minnesota Martial Arts Academy to San Jose, CA, as Velasquez trains with the renowned American Kickboxing Academy team. “UFC Primetime” delivers an extraordinary amount of access to two of mixed martial arts’ best, as they head into what could be the signature fight of the year.

UFC 121 will air live on Pay-Per-View Saturday, October 23 from the Honda Center, in Anaheim, CA at 10:00 PM ET/ 7:00 PM PT.
