UFC GYM® LONG ISLAND ENROLLMENT CENTER TO OPEN DECEMBER 1ST
Lafayette, CA (November 29, 2012) – UFC GYM® announces it will begin selling memberships at its first East Coast location in New Hyde Park, NY Saturday, December 1st. Set to open for workouts in spring 2013, the facility will be the brand’s first gym in New York and looks to bring UFC GYM’s unique “Train Different” approach to Long Island, offering residents the opportunity to train like world-class UFC fighters.

UFC GYM Long Island will go beyond traditional workouts by offering a broad and innovative array of programming for the entire family and every fitness level. Its “Train Different” approach applies to every element of the workout experience. The goal is to provide a true alternative to the same old workout routine through signature classes and specialized equipment. The club will include a 32 square foot Octagon, BJJ Studio, Bag Room, top-of-the-line strength training and cardio machines, battling ropes, agility ladders and other functional training equipment. Top-notch personal trainers will be available to help people of all fitness levels achieve undeniable results and the club will boast an expansive 2,500 square foot group fitness studio to house a full range of UFC GYM’s signature classes including Hot Hula, D.U.T (Daily, Ultimate Training), Hi-Octane Conditioning, and more.
In addition to the club’s training options, UFC GYM Long Island will offer full-service locker rooms, an Arm Bar Café™, featuring a tasty assortment of healthy shakes and smoothies and a retail shop. To create a fitness destination for the whole family, the club also offers a YOUTH GYM, featuring a private kids’ training area, offering Youth Fitness Classes, Active Fitness Gaming, Youth Mixed Martial Arts and Ultimate Birthday Parties.
Potential members will have an opportunity to join at a reduced rate and lock in low monthly dues prior to the facility opening at the UFC GYM enrollment center located at 1596 Union Turnpike, New Hyde Park, NY 11040. The first 300 new members will receive a UFC GYM shirt and gift bag.
