Two-time lightweight title challenger Caol Uno will make his return to the UFC Octagon on Saturday, June 13th, as he takes on Spencer “The King” Fisher in an intriguing 155-pound matchup on the UFC 99 card at the Lanxess Arena in Cologne, Germany.

Tickets for UFC 99 - which is headlined by the highly-anticipated bout between Rich Franklin and Wanderlei Silva - are on sale now.

One of the UFC lightweight division’s first stars, Kanagawa, Japan’s Caol Uno (25-11-4) fought the elite during his first stint in the Octagon from 2001 to 2003, including BJ Penn (twice), Jens Pulver, Din Thomas, Yves Edwards, and Hermes Franca. He would come perilously close to winning the lightweight crown twice, losing a five round decision to Pulver in 2001 and battling to a five round draw with Penn in 2003. Following his departure from the UFC, he continued to face off against top-notch fighters like Joachim Hansen, Kid Yamamoto, JZ Cavalcante, and Shinya Aoki in Japan, but on June 13th, the 33-year old star is back to take on the best in the UFC once again.

Across the Octagon from Uno will be Iowa’s Spencer “The King” Fisher (23-4), one of the toughest outs in the fight game today. Winner of 23 of 27 pro bouts, Fisher is currently on a two fight winning streak that has seen him defeat Jeremy Stephens and Shannon Gugerty in successive bouts, and he hopes to make it three in a row when he makes his European debut against Uno.
