What has been your toughest fight to date and why? The second fight with Kanybek in Kazakhstan because the opponent missed weight of 2 kilos, and I had a huge staph infection on my back during the fight.
Who is your favorite fighter and why? My favorite fighter it’s Rafael “Ataman” Fiziev Because we pursue the same goal in the cage.
Do you have any heroes outside of fighting? My heroes it’s all Ukrainian soldiers who ready to die in any moment to protect the country and the land!
Is there a cause that you want to use your platform for? I want to use my platform and audience to help my family and all the people in Ukraine during this difficult time for my country.
Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? I had one year of linguistics and then dropped off.
What was your job before you started fighting? Private coach and waiter.
Tell us about your life outside of fighting: I'm madly in love with aquarium fish, and as far as I know, I don't have any children yet :)
What is the one thing that you want UFC fans around the world to know about you? I want every MMA fan in the world to know that when Donchenko steps into the cage, it will be very exciting and no opponent will have an easy time! I want people to talk about me like they talk about Max Holloway, who is one of the most exciting fighters on the planet.
