When and why did you start training for fighting? I started training by following my brother to the gym—first in judo, then later in boxing—and around the age of 15, I followed him again into MMA

What does it mean for you to fight for the UFC? For me, the UFC represents the start of my real career; it’s where I can test myself against the best

Who is your favorite fighter and why? My favorite fighter right now is Ilia Topuria; I love the way he applies pressure on his opponents with his boxing

What fight do you consider to be the key fight in your career and why? I think my first fight at Ares was a turning point in my career; it made me known to the French public thanks to a knockout in one minute

Is there a cause that you want to use your platform for? I want to show the French public and international fans that it is possible to succeed coming from a small town and a lesser-known gym, provided the work being done is of high quality.

Beyond a championship or money, what motivates you? The challenge of pitting myself against the best

Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? I didn't pursue higher education; I preferred to launch my business right after high school

What was your job before you started fighting? I had my e-commerce business and was also responsible for nightclub security
