When and why did you start training for fighting? I started in July 2020, and I started fighting because when college football ended, I knew there was more for me to do.

Any accomplishments in amateur combat sports? I won the amateur Middleweight and Light Heavyweight titles while going 5-0 as an amateur in MMA. I’m a two-time Georgia Wrestling State Champion, going undefeated as a senior with a 40-0 record. Placed Top 10 in the national tournament in high school for wrestling. Wrestled one year in college at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.

Any belts/ranks in grappling disciplines? I’m a purple belt in BJJ

Toughest fight to date and why? My toughest fight to date was Caleb Crump. He was my 5th professional fight, and I learned a lot about what I needed to continue to work on and holes I can fix in my game from that fight. I know most would think it would be last year’s Contender fight, but facing adversity is something I have done my entire life. Adversity isn’t deemed tough for me because I have had to face it every day of my life.

Favorite fighter and why? I have a few based on their styles. It’s hard to pick just one, but I’ll go with Khabib, DC, and Khazmat. Those are my favorites to watch for many reasons and that’s mostly because their styles are similar to my style.

Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? I went to the University of Chattanooga-Tennessee. I have a degree in communications and sports administration.

What was your job before you started fighting? I worked at FedEx for three months in 2021 and just went full-time MMA after that.

Personal life/background: I love playing video games and watching football. Big fan of food. Love weightlifting and eating fried chicken. Love hanging with my family and friends.

I went to Jones County High School - graduated in the 2016 class. I went to University of Tennessee at Chattanooga from 2016-2020. I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in communications and Sports administration. I played football and wrestled in both high school and college. In high school football, I started 3 years, leading the state in sacks my junior year and the state in tackles my senior year. Won DPOY my senior year. Went to nationals and got 9th nationally out of 55 wrestlers. In college, I was an all-conference fullback for the SOCON my sophomore year. Started 2 years in college. Wrestled one year in college at UTC.
